Once you know that you can get connected, you can either contact us online or call us on 08454 55 55 55* to arrange a time for one of our Energy Advisors to come out and visit you to discuss the benefits of natural gas. They will also offer you free expert advice to help you save energy and money throughout your home and tell you about our special offers.
Once you have decided that you would like to convert to natural gas, Phoenix will connect your home to the natural gas network by installing your meter. To complete the installation of your new natural gas heating system or appliance, the next step is to choose your Gas Safe registered installation company. If you would like us to introduce to an installer please contact us on 08454 55 55 55* or you can select your own installer by using our online installer directory.
Your installer will undertake a full technical survey of your home and provide you with a written quotation. We recommend that you get up to three quotations for this work so you can compare costs to make sure you are getting best value for money.
Installing natural gas provides a fabulous opportunity to upgrade your home in many ways. Before you connect to the natural gas network you must choose a gas supplier who operates in the Phoenix Natural Gas licence area.
Once you have accepted a quotation for a Gas Safe registered installation company, please call our Customer Services team on 08454 55 55 55* to arrange your connection to the natural gas network. Your home will either be fitted with a pre-payment or credit meter depending on your circumstances, and can be discussed with your Energy Advisor. We will advise you of your Planned Connection Date. You should then advise your installer of this date so they can schedule your central heating and/or appliance installation in your home.
