The Boiler Replacement Allowance is a government scheme, which aims to help owner occupiers with the cost of replacing their old, inefficient boilers that are over 15 years old, with an energy efficient condensing boiler. The level of grant available is dependent on total gross income of the household. If you have not yet applied for the grant to date we would advise you to contact the NIHE on 03448 920900 to see if further applications are being accepted. The Housing Executive stress that homeowners must not start any works until an approval has been issued.
