Ballygowan Set for Easter Eggstravaganza

Easter Egg Hunt

Ballygowan is set for an egg-cellent Easter as Ballygowan & District Community Association today launched the annual Easter Egg Hunt, supported by Phoenix Energy.

The Eggstravaganza takes place on Saturday 13th April from 1-3pm, starting at Ballygowan Village Hall, with the hunt taking place throughout the village and is open to all children aged up to primary 7 in the Ballygowan area.

Local company, Phoenix Energy, is supporting the event and distributing prizes to the winners in each age group; mums and tots, pre-school children, play school children and primary school children. The event will finish with a children’s disco and prize giving in Ballygowan Village Hall.

Phoenix Energy Marketing Manager, Danielle Dunbar, said, “With natural gas now available in Ballygowan, Phoenix is proud to be not only at the heart of many homes in the village, but also at the heart of the community.

“Easter is a special time of year for families and, as a company actively involved in supporting its community, we are delighted to support this family friendly event. We have some great prizes up for grabs and I would encourage local families to bring their Easter baskets and enjoy a great family day out.”
