Two local families have been awarded prizes for their picture perfect selfies at the recent Spa Primary School end-of-year fun run and walk, sponsored by Phoenix Energy.
Fun-runners stepped out in force to participate in the event before returning to the school to enjoy all the fun of the fair in a family fun day, where two lucky families claimed top prizes for their winning smiles.
Young Jay Foster (2) and his family took home the top prize of a meal voucher at The Primrose, Ballynahinch, whilst Spa Primary School pupil, Jack McBride (9), was awarded a Smyths toy voucher. The families were presented with their prizes by Cathy Magovern, Phoenix Energy Marketing Manager.
Speaking on the win, Cathy said, “We were delighted to sponsor the Spa Primary School Fun Run this year and bring our new character, Victor the Van, to meet the locals and pose for some selfies. Both Jay and Jack are very deserving winners of our selfie competition and Victor had a ‘wheelie’ good time at the event.
